Yes, the time has come for Bowerhouse to close its doors. Since becoming a mum, designing a homewares label, running an online store & keeping up with social media algorithms has lost its joy, since the birth of my 2nd 15mths ago, the juggle has become a daily struggle & I have decided enough of spreading myself too thin & not giving Bowerhouse the justice it deserves.
My word of the year is Surrender, this time is for my kids; the nights are sleepless, the tantrums are strong & the coffee is never strong enough… The days are long but these years are fleeting, I want to enjoy them & be present for my family.
A huge thank you to my loyal customers, many of you returning over the years to fill your home with Bowerhouse, It makes my heart so happy thinking of my wares being used & treasured in so many homes for many years to come. A special shout out to Jody D’Arcy & Jo Carmichael for taking a chance on my little start up & weaving your magic to help me create the kick-ass campaigns that saw my products gracing the pages of Belle, Inside Out, Vogue, House & Garden (to name a few) & a feature on The Design Files within a month of launching
I am not yet sure what will come of this Bowerhouse account but some of you may have already discovered my side hustle & creative outlet @bowerandfound - my little insta store created as a place to fill my cup & pursue my love of vintage/ interiors where from time to time I offer for sale treasures from my thrifting adventures. If you would like a last opportunity to buy a Bowerhouse bar cart, kantha quilt or cushion, keep your eyes on the @bowerandfound space as I will be listing my remaining stock over the coming weeks at discounted prices.
If you would like to get in touch, I am reachable via the @bowerandfound space or via email email@example.com
Thank you again, Natalie.
