How to create that perfect indoor to outdoor flow…
Well it feels like we have skipped spring and dived straight into summer this week in Perth! It is finally time to dust off the Havaianas & floaty dresses, I can almost taste the Pina Coladas - this is when Australian living really comes into it’s own!
Today I am sharing some beautiful homes that make the most of our lovely long summer season - homes that blur the lines between indoor & outdoor, living spaces that open up to the outside or rooms that bring the outdoors in.
Taking a cue from the below spaces, when planning new or renovating, don’t treat inside & outside areas as separate. Consider these spaces in relation to each other - materials, finishes & furniture should be complimentary or work well together to create a free flowing, seamless transition from indoor to out...
Speaking of summer... I just had to share some sunny vibes from the Instagram feed of my clever customer Melissa (@teamtonkin) I love her handsome cactus sitting proud in one of our natural seagrass baskets. You can browse & shop these baskets here.
